What data we collect and why
When you contact us
When you send us a message through the contact form, a property enquiry or the “List your property” form, we collect your name, email address, phone number (optional), your message and the details you give us about your property. We also record the date, the language of the page and your IP address, to protect the forms from abuse.
We use these data only to answer your request and, if you wish, to work with you on buying, selling or renting a property. Legal basis: steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and our legitimate interest in answering enquiries and keeping our forms secure (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Visitor statistics
Only if you accept it in the cookie banner, we use Google Analytics (Google Ireland Limited) to understand how the website is used, for example which pages are visited. Google Analytics uses cookies and processes your IP address, which Google shortens; data may be transferred to the USA under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time through “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page.
Property views
We count how many times each property page is viewed. This counter is a plain number and is not linked to you.
Third-party content
- Maps: property and contact pages show a map from OpenStreetMap, which receives your IP address when the map loads.
- Videos: property videos come from YouTube or Vimeo and load only after you allow them.
- Fonts: the website fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address.
Who receives your data
Your messages are stored on the servers of our hosting provider and sent to our email inbox. We do not sell your data or share it for advertising. We share data with third parties only when needed to handle your request (for example a notary or lawyer in a transaction you asked us to handle) or when required by law.
How long we keep your data
We keep enquiries for as long as needed to handle your request and for up to 24 months after our last contact, unless a longer period is required by law (for example tax law for completed transactions).
Your rights
You have the right to access your data, to have them corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to their processing, to data portability and to withdraw your consent at any time. To exercise these rights, email us at info@parosestate.gr. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (www.dpa.gr, 1-3 Kifisias Ave., 115 23 Athens).
